Bayern München v Villarreal (1st Leg 0-1)

Villarreal managed to shackle Robert Lewandowski in the first leg.

Villarreal are getting too big for their boots, I saw Emery criticising Spurs saying that players came to Villarreal to win trophies and I’m not happy about it. I think it'll be similar situation to Salzburg v Bayern, close in the first game and then Bayern go the Allianz.

Prediction: 4-1

Real Madrid v Chelsea (1st Leg 3-1)

Chelsea will need to be at their attacking best at the Bernabéu.

This is an easy one. I don't think Chelsea will get beaten as convincingly as I find it hard to imagine Thomas Tuchel took no lessons from that last game. However, with the way Mendy is playing anything could happen. I think both teams will score and it'll be a draw, two goals apiece.

Prediction: 2-2

Atlético Madrid v Man City (1st Leg 0-1)

Atleti will need vast improvements going forward to overcome City.

I don't like that 1 goal advantage for City heading to the Metropolitano. But saying that, Atleti didn't have a shot in Manchester, so maybe City will be fine with that lead. I might be wrong but I think I think I saw that it’s the first time a team had 0xg after a game in the knockouts. Anyway, I got it right last time so I'm backing City to flare their wings a bit, peacock the game and win 3-0. Atleti aren't scoring.

Prediction: 0-3

Liverpool v Benfica (1st Leg 3-1)

Liverpool's attacking threat was clear to see in their opening leg clash with Benfica.

Being at Anfield doesn't mean anything, Liverpool’s fans aren't as intimidating as they make out. Saying that, they'll still win 2-0, they’ve got too many good players and it’ll have to seriously go to pot for Benfica to make it through. Take that Fabio...
