DJ and former Valencia and Spain star Gaizka Mendieta has sent Champions Journal a playlist certain to lift the spirits

CJ Extra

“Keeping spirits up nowadays is a MUST,” says Gaizka Mendieta. “So let’s talk about better things ... music!” A big thank you to Gaizka, who has given us an insight into his current rotation by putting together this playlist of inspiring tunes for Champions Journal.

The DJ, restaurateur and former Valencia and Spain star has picked six songs to help us get through these tough times, including the uplifting Deleter by Grouplove and Holy Mountain by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. There’s even some classic David Bowie in there too.

“The playlist is being done to lift spirits during these difficult times with people having to be at home for so long,” Gaizka adds. “We’re all looking for some uplifting moods and moves. The selection is a bit of mix and match – new albums and classic albums, new bands and classic bands – different generations and influences that people will hopefully find uplifting.”
